Multi-vehicle crash snarled traffic at I-475 split earlier today

Traffic on northbound I-75 in and near Perrysburg has returned to normal after being tied up because of a multi-vehicle crash earlier today.

There was a minor injury, authorities said. The name of the victim was not released.

Police responded to a report of the crash in the northbound lanes of the interstate at the I-475 split about 7:20 a.m., a Perrysburg police said. The crash, which happened in a construction zone, involved three tractor-trailer rigs.

The crash caused lane closure, with one northbound lane remaining open, a police dispatcher said. All affected lanes were reopen by 11 a.m.
